GEM Network Rules

By joining GEM Network, you agree to follow these rules. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.

1. Community & Conduct

  • Respectful Interaction: Toxicity, hate speech, harassment, slurs, and aggressive personal attacks are strictly forbidden across all chats and platforms.
  • Staff Authority: Staff decisions regarding moderation are final. Open a ticket if you wish to appeal a decision—do not argue in public chat.
  • No Advertising: Unsolicited self-promotion, promoting other servers, or posting external invite links is prohibited.
  • Appropriate Profiles: Display names, IGNs, skins, and capes must be appropriate for a general audience.

2. Fair Play & Security

  • No Hacked Clients or Exploits: Use of unapproved modifications (x-ray, movement hacks, auto-clickers) or abusing mod glitches is strictly banned. Report bugs to staff immediately.
  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for everything done on your account. Ban evasion via alt accounts or VPNs results in a permanent blacklist.
  • No RMT (Real-Money Trading): Trading in-game items, currency, or progress for real-world money outside the official store is forbidden.

3. Claims & Griefing

  • No Griefing or Stealing: Stealing, raiding, or damaging property inside claimed land is strictly forbidden. Bypassing claim protections is a bannable offense.
  • Respect Neighbor Space: Do not claim directly adjacent to another player’s base without their permission. Leave a reasonable buffer zone.
  • Unclaimed Bases: Raiding unclaimed bases is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by the specific server/pack rules.

4. Performance & Modded Rules

  • Lag Generation: Do not build intentionally laggy contraptions, runaway mob farms, or infinite redstone/modded clock loops without toggles. Staff reserve the right to remove laggy setups.
  • Automation Safety: All automated processing systems must include void upgrades, overflow destroyers, or auto-shutoffs to prevent item drop buildup on the ground.
  • Chunk Loading: Keep chunk loaders reasonable. Excessive loaded chunks or keeping inactive bases loaded indefinitely may lead to loader limits or removal.
